PAUL SCHEUER
A graduate of the University of Southern California, Paul Scheuer began his pursuit of strength training and conditioning in 1990.  His focus turned to 3D Motion Analysis in his quest for optimal mechanics in athletic performance.  In 1996, he moved to San Antonio, Texas to begin an apprenticeship in the application of 3D Motion Analysis for athletes.  Scheuer has worked as a strength trainer, triathlon coach, YMCA Athletic Director in Los Angeles, California, head/team swim coach, Assistant Biomechanist at The Palestra in San Antonio, Texas, and Head Biomechanist and Program Coordinator for The Performance Center in Houston, Texas.  In 1997 he began his studies in Pilates through The Ron Fletcher Program of Study® further emphasizing the importance of spinal mechanics in his approach to strength and conditioning and athletic development.  In 2000, he returned to San Antonio to open Studio A: Pilates with his business partner,
Aida Zorrilla.
 

In April 2005, Scheuer opened Studio B: Body Armor, an athletic performance center. Together, Studio A and Body Armor provide a full spectrum, synergistic and dynamic experience for athletes. In 2006 Scheuer began to study and introduce the CrossFit method into his conditioning program, receiving his Level 1 certification in July 2007.

Specializing in strength training and conditioning, CrossFit, 3D Motion Analysis and Fletcher Pilates, Scheuer provides programs for athletes and for those committed to training like athletes. Scheuer’s training methods integrate plyometrics, speed and endurance, power and strength, agility and balance, spinal mechanics and core stability.
